As a system supplier for fasteners, we have been active for over 140 years, offering our customers custom-made connection solutions that go beyond standard DIN/ISO products. These are produced at our locations in Hagen and Breckerfeld with extensive in-house manufacturing depth, "made in Germany". Our many years of experience and close collaboration with companies from numerous industries, facing almost countless combinations of requirements, coalesce into exceptional expertise. Our daily work is focused on providing our customers with specially tailored fastening solutions: technically, logistically, and economically. Synergies in a Strong Network
GEVAG's origins date back to 1879, when our first screw and hardware business with manufacturing, Kuhlhoff & Fressel GmbH, was founded. In 1974, Kuhlhoff & Fressel GmbH, Schwelmer Schraubenwerk Gebr. Gebler & Co. KG, and Heinrich Vagedes GmbH merged to form GEVAG Schrauben GmbH & Co. KG. Since then, our customers have approached us with ideas, wishes, and challenges, benefiting from our experience in manufacturing screws, bolts, nuts, and washers, as well as from our global partnerships for the optimal procurement of all types of fasteners. GEVAG offers all possibilities for the best possible supply of desired fastening systems – whether standard parts or individual special and custom-designed parts for specific applications.
Since 2011, GEVAG GmbH has been part of the Wippermann Group. As a traditional medium-sized company, Wippermann junior GmbH is a globally leading manufacturer of industrial chains and sprockets. Also located in Hagen, this creates numerous spatial, technical, and organizational synergies. More than 400 employees work within the group of companies. GEVAG fosters long-term partnerships with suppliers and finishing or contract manufacturing companies from the region, thereby ensuring stable supply chains, sustainable production with short transport routes, and quick response capabilities.
